At Demore’s Automotive in Palmer, MA, we take the time to get to know customers which allows us to best serve them and their automotive needs. Our shop was started back in 1997 and is currently owned by Jay Demore and his wife, Michelle. The technicians at our shop are CTI trained and are currently undergoing ASE certification testing and we are ASA and Technet affiliated.

Jay Demore has over 27 years in the automotive industry with a background in automotive repair. He grew up working with his father on their family cars along with his older brother. They also built hot rods together growing up. Auto repair was something that he was a part of from a young age with his family. Now he has the privilege of running Demore’s Automotive with his wife and son. Outside of the shop, Jay’s hobbies include fishing, building hot rods with his son, and woodworking.

While Jay was a student at the local trade school in high school, he excelled so much that they hired him to teach while he was still a student. He taught an after school program for troubled youths and then also taught the adult night classes for auto repair. Michelle also grew up working on cars with her grandfather, who also owned his own auto repair shop many years ago. Auto repair runs in our families!

As a local family-owned business, we want to take measures to help out the community. One of our current contributions is to help fight against and spread awareness for drug abuse.
